Both the knowledge and skill portions must be passed for listing on the Wyoming Nurse Aide Registry (WYNAR). Combined knowledge + skill fee is $127. Manual Demonstration Skill Test

Renewal & continuing education
Renew every 2 years.
Renewal is every even year through the WSBN Nurse Portal (the initial certificate may run less than a full two years depending on issue date). Continuing competency must be shown by ONE of: (A) 400 hours of employment in the CNA role in the past 2 years; (B) 200 hours of employment plus 15 hours of continuing education; (C) 30 hours of continuing education; or (D) passing the NATCEP again. ceHours is null because the CE hours required depend on which option applies (0, 15, or 30). An applicant with no qualifying employment in the last 5 years must repeat an approved training program or repass the NATCEP. Aides with misconduct restrictions are not eligible to renew.
Reciprocity
Endorsement/reciprocity from another state is available.
No interstate compact covers CNAs (the Nurse Licensure Compact applies to RN/LPN only). Certification by Endorsement is available for a CNA who is certified in another state, whose certification is current and in good standing, and who has never been certified in Wyoming; apply through the WSBN endorsement process (WYNAR Endorsement registry placement).
