Meet the prerequisites
Be at least 16 years old, Completion of at least 10th grade or equivalent (exemptions apply for veterans and individuals aged 35 or older), pass a criminal background check. Applicants must submit a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) from the Pennsylvania State Police (via the PATCH system) and from any other state where they resided, worked, or completed training in the past 5 years.
