    Complete 75 hours of training at a state-approved program. 75-hour GREC-approved Salesperson Prelicense course, or equivalent qualifying real-estate coursework (10 quarter hours / 6 semester hours) from an accredited college, university, or law school. New licensees must also complete a 25-hour Salesperson Postlicense course within their first year (which counts as only 9 hours toward CE). [1]

GREC has no separate license 'application' fee distinct from the license-issuance fee itself; the $170 license fee is due at the PSI test center upon passing if the license is applied for within 90 days of the exam (it doubles to $340 for 90 days-12 months after the exam), so application is null rather than guessed. Per GREC's own reciprocity notice: any individual licensed in another state or jurisdiction (except Florida residents) qualifies for a comparable Georgia license without taking the general exam, provided the out-of-state license is current, in good standing, and was obtained by passing an exam — requires a certified license history, a Lawful Presence Verification form, a criminal background report, and a $170 fee. Florida residents are the sole exception: they must pass a Georgia Law and Practice supplement exam through PSI.
