Meet the prerequisites
Be at least 18 years old, High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent, pass a criminal background check. Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Fingerprint background check is required. [1]

Complete approved training
Complete 150 hours of training at a state-approved program. Pre-license education consists of 150 hours of Agency-approved courses from an authorized provider. [1]

Real Estate Broker License Exam
Pass the Real Estate Broker License Exam (fee: $75). Computer-based The exam consists of a 150-minute National portion (80 questions) and a 90-minute State portion (50 questions). A score of 75% or higher on each portion is required to pass. [2]

Submit your application to Oregon Real Estate Agency with the $300 application fee. [1]

Licenses are renewed every 2 years by the last day of the birth month. Active renewal requires 30 hours of continuing education (including the 3-hour LARRC course).
